Benefits:
Just think how much time, money and (most of all) stress you can eliminate from your life.

  • How would you feel if, every time you climb into your car, you knew exactly how to get to wherever you were going AND how long it will take you to get there - even at night or in a unfamiliar city, town or suburb?
  • How much more relaxing would driving on our roads be if there was always someone sitting next to you giving you timely, accurate and easy to understand navigation instructions on when to turn and which road to turn into? - Especially if she had a nice voice.
  • How much safer would you feel when driving on our roads if you could concentrate 100% on the traffic around you, secure in the knowledge that your professional navigator is taking care of the ‘where and how’ to get you to your destination?
  • Would it improve your business to be able to get to those critical meetings on time, relaxed and without feeling as if you have already done battle with half of the country on the roads just to get there?
  • How much safer would you feel knowing that the route that you are taking has already been preplanned by someone who ‘knows the way’ and that even if you managed to still miss a turn off, your route will be immediately recalculated and you would be instructed on the new route without a hitch?
  • How much money would you save on your monthly petrol bill by being able to cut down on all the driving around in circles just because you missed a turnoff, or because the instructions somebody gave you over the phone do not look in the least familiar with the roads you are actually driving on?
  • How much frustration would be cut out of your family holiday trips knowing that your ‘navigator’ is not telling you to turn left while pointing to the right???? Or knowing that you have the freedom to explore at leisure without having to worry about how to find your way back at the end of the day?

Personal Applications:
Personal applications for a GPS are as varied as people themselves. Apart from the usual hiking, biking, 4×4, marine, fishing and aviation crowd; we have had requests from:

  • Hunters - needing to find their way back to their ‘kill’ with a vehicle in the middle of the bush.
  • Farmers - wanting to map their farms, work out field sizes and crop yields per area.
  • Students - wanting to take ‘road trips’ and needing to convince their parents that they won’t end up in some ‘unfriendly’ neighborhood.
  • Wives - who want to hide the device on the back seat of hubby’s car to track his movements and see whether he really is attending business meetings until the wee hours of the morning (not a recommended practice we must add).
  • Husbands - who want to make sure that the wife is as safe as possible while driving on our roads alone or at night.
  • Panicking Executives - who phone us up at odd times to enquire whether we will please give them their coordinates based on their physical address because the helicopter is on the way to pick them up and the pilot is on the cellphone asking them where the hell they are (Yes, this one is actually true and we were hysterical for a week afterwards but, when we were able to look up his address on our GPS and give the poor chap his coordinates over the phone within 30 seconds, he popped in a week later to buy his own).

Business Applications:
Business applications for a GPS are becoming more and more popular as business owners, reps and others who travel extensively for their work come to realize the benefits of owning a GPS. No more getting lost when visiting new or once off customers and clients, delivering parcels or orders as well as time, petrol (and frustration) savings when selecting optimal routes (shortest and quickest) to that important business meeting.

Other benefits for business owners include being able to log and track vehicle usage, building a visual (map) database of all customers locations, working out accurate delivery costs based on distance to travel and creating optimal set routes for delivery vehicles and reps.
