I just bought a USB cable to update my nuvi 200. However, my computer will not recognize the garmin as a mass storage device for me to update the maps. I have full functionality of my garmin when it is connected which I know should not be the case. Do I need an SD or MicroSD card for me to have it recognize the garmin or is there a function I need to change in my garmin to switch it over to become a mass storage device? I have tried this on two different laptops and need help.

Do you possibly have info on where I can find spares for my nuvi 200W. I have unfortunately droped the unit and the screen cracked. I am able to do the replacement myself by just need to find a screen, even if it is from a unit that the screen is Ok but the rest does not work.

Could someone be so kind and post the changelog for the Nüvi 200 series here? It seems that I can't find the changes anywhere on the web, without installing this WebUpdater program. However, before doing that, I would like to check the change history to see if anything relevant has changed at all, and if it is worth updating.

Het opladen ging inderdaad wel heel erg eenvoudig, alleen vraag ik me af wanneer je opnieuw moet opladen?

Hi Fred

You can get your current altitude from the Nuvi anytime by tapping on the vehicle icon on the map display (<em>you may have to tap and hold it for a few seconds</em>). The window that comes up shows altitude on the right hand side plus other information. You can only display the altitude of your current location.
